Introduction

Welcome to Toolsvix, developed and operated by Tekzovix, based in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android app (com.tekzovix.toolsvix).

By downloading and using Toolsvix, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

      💡 Toolsvix is designed with a privacy-first approach. Most PDF and utility tools process your files on your device. Text is only sent over the internet when you use online features such as Translate, PDF Translate, AI Summarizer, or Grammar & Rewriter.
    

Included in v1.0.0:

PDF tools — merge, split, compress, to image, translate, to Word, to Excel
AI tools — summarizer, grammar & rewriter, translate (online), image-to-text (OCR)
File & text tools — QR generator, QR scanner, unit converter, password generator, word counter, hash, Base64, JSON formatter

Not included in v1.0.0: Image tools (compress, resize, watermark, etc.) and Media tools (audio/video). These sections are hidden and not available in this release.

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the app. Here is a complete breakdown for v1.0.0:

How We Use Information

On-device PDF processing — merge, split, compress, render pages, extract text, convert to Word/Excel/images locally on your phone
AI features — text you submit is sent to Google Gemini API for summarization, grammar fixing, and rewriting
Online translation — text is sent to MyMemory (api.mymemory.translated.net) for Translate and PDF Translate
On-device OCR — photos are processed with Google ML Kit Text Recognition (Latin script) on your device; images are not sent to Tekzovix
On-device QR scanning — camera or gallery images are processed on-device using ML Kit barcode scanning

⚠️ Online tools: AI and translation features send text to third-party servers (Google and MyMemory). We do not store copies on Tekzovix servers. Each provider's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy and mymemory.translated.net/doc/terms.php

      ✅ Advertising: v1.0.0 does not show ads. The Google AdMob SDK is not included in this release. If ads are added in a future update, this policy and the Play Store Data safety form will be updated first.
    

App Permissions Explained

Toolsvix requests only the permissions needed for v1.0.0. Denying a permission affects only the related feature.

On Android 9+, saving uses the system Downloads folder. Picking PDFs and photos uses the system file/photo picker — we do not request broad gallery or media permissions.

PDF processing libraries (Syncfusion, PDFium) run on your device and do not receive your files on Tekzovix servers.

Children's Privacy

Toolsvix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us at tekzovix@gmail.com if you believe a child has used the app inappropriately.

In Google Play Console, set the target age group to 13+ or higher.

Data Retention & Deletion

Files you process stay on your device unless a tool sends text to an online API
Text sent to Gemini or MyMemory is handled by those services — Tekzovix does not store copies
Output files are saved where you choose on your device

To delete local data: Settings → Apps → Toolsvix → Clear data, or uninstall the app.

Security

All online API calls use HTTPS/TLS
Gemini API keys are injected at build time — not published in the app source code
No user accounts or passwords are stored
On-device tools (PDF, OCR, QR) do not pass through Tekzovix servers

Avoid submitting highly sensitive information (passwords, financial data, medical records) through online AI or translation tools.
